My friend recently bought a 2011 Challenger. He's noticed both front side markers do not light and the rear do light. He checked the bulbs with no change. Checked fuses, all good. The seller lives 200 miles away so he's a little difficult to contact for some background on the car.

So, sounds like a wiring issue, but we're not sure where to start. Anyone have similar problem or have an idea where to start?

Start with the actual socket, put light tester to see if there is power, than work from there.

Thanks! I'll have to hook up with my Bud and do some investigation. Hope it's simple cause I'm a simple guy.

Another member had a similar issue. Turns out he installed aftermarket lighting and there was an issue with the wiring...just something to keep in mind if something aftermarket was installed.

Do the fog lamps work? If not, did he check the light harness to make sure it's plugged in? It's on the right side frame rail next to the fog lamp. This is the only connector for the fog lamps and running (marker) lights.
It's possible the bumper was removed in the past and they forgot to plug the harness back in.
