My Sirius is creating a huge issue. I called Sirius , Uconnect and Dodge. All they were doing is routing the calls from one dept. to another.

No help at all.

1. When I press Assist or SOS Button from rear view mirror, nothing happens. No call goes through the Sirius. All they say is, "Connected services not active, please try to activate. When I call Sirius, they say its active. However I went ahead and tried to activate by inserting my email. I immediately receive an email , stating " Your services are active". Not sure whats going on. is there anyone else who is facing similar issue?

2. Is there a way we can turn on hotspot for 2017 Challenger SRT as we can do it in 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT

3. Can we use CarPlay without the charging cable plugged in? Is there any way we could make it through Bluetooth or enabling Wifi or HotSpot if possible ?

I don't believe wireless connection to CarPlay is available for Dodge yet. I've heard Harman is working on it so there may be hope on the horizon. Sorry, I can't help with your other questions.

Wireless CarPlay

The user manual for the 17 uaq radio says carplay is only supported through the wired connection. From the after market radio's I have read that support wireless carplay the radio's have to have a certain type of wireless lan adapter in order for that feature to work. Carplay currently does not use cellular to pass carplay information.

I cant help on the other questions either as I have no idea how those items work at all.

Do you get a free trial hotspot? If not, you'll have to make the purchase at the Uconnect store. Is the method not the same as 2016?

2017 challengers do not come under uconnect access. Therefore the Apps store / apps manager is blank and nothing in there as you have it in yours. We do not see what you see in screen at all :( . They switched to sirrus gurdian, therefore we do not have the option of wifi / turn car into hotspot now. :( However we are served with the carplay as a goodie alternative, which i guess 2016 doesn't have :(.

Hi Alien Cop,

Unfortunately the Panasonic radios that are currently offered in our 2017 Challengers, Chargers, 300s and the newly redesigned Jeep Compass do not offer Wifi Hotspot capabilities or a wireless option for Apple CarPlay/Android Auto at this time. In regards to your concerns described in the first item on your list, if you'd like to PM our page with your VIN I'd be happy to look into this further for you!

Thank you so much for your feedback, however can you redirect me to the page where I need to put in my VIN number, as the assist button an SOS button on the rear view mirror doesnt work. Also from the screen of 8.4 NAV , the Save & Go, Assist, and 2 more options doesnt work, the issue should be the same as the error message shows the same.

Please drop in your link where I can send my VIN Number.

Thansk a ton for your help,

Alien.
