i ordered my new rims and tires for my 10 R/T and the company sent me 275/45/R20 and they dont fit...WTF any suggestion to avoid taking the tires off and sending them back and waiting for new ones?

no the width is fine its the height of the tire, had it on the lift and put one on and it was already rubbing the end of the bolt above it. would a spacer bring it out enough so it wouldnt rub that?

Mine came with 45X20 from the factory and they look fine and don't rub.

well i dont know what the problem is maybe it is then, im just going by what the people at the shop said, i didnt actually see it but they said they height of the tire was the issue. so now im looking for a solution so i dont have to go thru the hassle of sending all of it back and wait longer. so 275/45/20 should fit is what your saying?

I don't know if it will fit or not, but 275/45/20 is a taller tire than 245/45/20. The 45 means the height is 45% of the width.

I have 275/40 R20's on the front of mine (much bigger int he rear) with no issues however that is on aftermarket rims so I suspect that if you put these on the stock rims the offset isn't right to prevent the rubbing in which case spacers may help. Or it could just be that you needed 40's instead of 45's.....

With new tires I don't think I'ld chance it. If they say they don't fit I'ld send them back and if you don't have a preditor your speedometer will be off.

That would be pretty close 1/10 of 1% speedometer change.
