Came back from some training and I had a package waiting on me from Rider Graphix
Looks awesome!! Is that Granite Crystal?

I have a Granite Crystal R/T that I'm adding matte black hockey stripes on from RiderGraphix this weekend. You might have given me a bit of a preview here. Looks great so I may have made the right choice. How difficult was the install and did it take long? Get many bubbles?

I actually opted for the "HEMI" text instead of "345". Everyone I know would have no idea what the "345" means so I figured I would have to answer less questions with "HEMI".

Yes it is Granite Crystal and it wasn't bad at all to put on. I had very few bubbles in mine, just be careful not to scratch the decal with the plastic spreader, make sure you wet it down before moving bubbles. These are the glossy black and I do get asked every now and then about what the 345 is.

Thanks for the tips. I have plastic spreaders, water bottle and a squeegee ready to go.

Yeah np just another must is 2 people, I'd be interested to see how yours comes out with the black wheeles
Thanks, I'm visiting my family this weekend so my father will help me out. Once I'm done I'll post pictures on here so that you can see. I'm a bit curious as to how it will work out also - not sure if the stripe being matte will conflict a bit with the black rims. I am trying for a bit of a "ghost" look but we'll see.

I'll snag a picture of both sides - I do have the black gas cap so I'm interested to see how that works with the stripes also.

Installed my kit this weekend. It mostly went well - only had one problem where a small piece of the backing got under the kit. Luckily we noticed it early enough to peel, re-wet and put it back on with no real issues. Install took about 3 hours but we took our time and took a break. Overall, there are about two small creases and a few miniscule bubbles under the stripes. Not bad for novices - I can't see them anymore so maybe they worked themselves out in the sun.

Pictures are below. They are matte black which works for the "ghost" stripe effect I was working for. They are the "retro" style hockey stripes from RiderGraphix. I knew they would be bigger than the "heritage" but was surprised by how much bigger they were. I selected that kit since I figured the "retro" would have more room for the 4 character "HEMI" vs. 3 character "345". I'm very happy with it. It gives a more agressive look but is still subtle.

Wanted to put a shout out there to RiderGraphix. They provided a very high quality kit and good instructions. Nice thing too is they provided both the "HEMI" and the classic "Hemi" lettering with the kit. I chose the "HEMI" to match the hood badge but was great to have the option.

I wanted the billboard look and went with 3M wrap material that was the closest color to the Granite Crystal. I wanted a ghost effect instead of the common black decal. I think it came out very nice and the decal actually disappears in certain lighting conditions. I get compliments at alot of car shows by Mopar guys.

Thanks. Let me know how that works out. I'm curious how plasti dip works on wheels and how yours would look with the stripes you have.

WOW. That looks awesome!! I thought of the billboard stripes - went for the hockey stripes as I thought it would be a bit easier and a bit more room for error putting them on being a novice.

I really like your billboards... I'll have to see after some time with the hockey stripes if I decide try something new - if so I may try the billboards. That's the nice thing about the vinyl - you can change relatively easily.

Also, wanted to provide a quick update on the efforts. I mentioned a few bubbles and creases on the stripes that I added. After a few days of being on, the bubbles and creases went completely away. Even looking at them very closely they are not there anymore. I think drying and some time in the sun has completely worked them out - the vinyl must constrict a bit and takes care of minor imperfections.
