I bought half inch spacers for my rear wheels and i tried to put them on but when I set my tire back on and tried tightening my lugs it got about 5 turns on each bolt my buddy said it look good to him but it didn’t seem like it was safe to me does anyone know wat I should do will I have to get extensions for my lug pattern or different bolts ?

Purchase the correct size wheels with the correct offset and back spacing.

5 turns is not gonna cut it. Did you use plain spacers, or spacers with lugs like this

994270


1/2" is like 12.7mm, so not too bad, but you need proper lug engagement. They should be 5x115 Hub Centric 71.5mm
