when i was deciding whether i wanted the IE or not that combo was one of the ones i was considering...im not a big fan of TO, but with the grey stripes i am....i think it looks very different and would definately stand out on the road....my 2nd choice would have been GWE, but that grey striped TO was 3rd place for me....

there's one in IL for $500 over invoice (flat rate dealership-no haggle)

I will be interested to see this stripe on the Redline, though. I saw a photo that looked OK, but I think it'll look better in person.

What is it with 2011's and their boring colour schemes???

Inaugural editions aside, the regular 392's are all boring (except Green w/ Envy)

Hemi Orange beats Toxic Orange
TorRed beats Redline (which is like an inferno red on steroids, nice, but not eye popping)

...and with no B5, Plum Crazy or Detonator Yellow... Yawn-Fest 2011! :notallthere:

As others have said, the colors on the "regular" 2011 SRT are weak - the Green will be the best one. The Billet is nice. TO is OK, but the comparison to Hemi Orange is always made and HO is nicer. The red is nice but isn't work $1K.

Hopefully the early 2012 model rollover will bring better colors.

Well I really loved my Hemi Orange RT, But also love the white. Would have been great to have the 392's with Hemi OJ Stripes instead of Blue. Then I wouldn't feel like I have NYC cop colors

I would say I'm with you guys, love the TO but that stripe??? Here in NJ there are few of any color SRT8's Only IE's around and so far all the dealers are [email protected]$. I have been trying to order one, but they are all tring to screw me over.

I don't like that too. Not so bad on the GWE with the black, but I cannot stand it on the DWB with the white. If I had gotten the DWB I'd have ripped them off first thing.

I saw a white Charger on the freeway last week that had blue rally stripes on it. Totally made me think it was a mustang... Even after I knew it was a Charger.

I dont recall any old school Muscle Mopars with rally stripes on them...

Because they are vinyl, not paint.. That's why they don't go through the license plate area...


Sitedrifter I was wondering if you were going to chime in! My opinion on the stripes is that, Photography matters! The silver stripes look much better in person and in good photos, the OP's photos were not that great. Actually the best way to shoot these cars is with a circular polarizer, it really makes ANY of the stripes "pop"

I saw a TO with the grey stripes in person at the local dealership. I really, really liked it. Stood out.. was different etc... I think Sitedrifter's pictures are alot closer to what it really looks like.. The first set of pics did not do it justice.
