Hi, I’m new here. I want to ask if anybody has had problems with scraping, scratching or rubbing noises when you turn your car to the right or left at low 10, 15 mph speed?
My SRT 392 is making a weird noise like I’ve described above and the Dodge guys say they can hear it but can’t locate it. I’m at my wits end and thought I’d join and ask here. I just wonder if it’s a problem somebody else has encountered with their suspension, shocks, bushings??

Could be differential. When I had a grinding noise at low speed turns, dealer changed fluid and it’s nice and quiet now. Hope you get yours resolved.

Just to clarify what model & year is your car and is it completely stock or have modified suspension, widened rims and or tires etc.?
This will help the process of elimination and prompt more replies (hopefully).

The inner plastic guards are very thin and flimsy, if one of these is out of position it could rub and cause the condition you describe? hopefully it is something this simple.

Do you have dynamics package? The two piece rotors in the front make some strange noises including clicking/ticking/rubbing, at low speeds, but mostly when backing up. This is considered normal based on others discussion with SRT Engineers.

My '15 SRT was making some rubbing noises when making sharp turns at slow speeds. Dealer put an additive in the differential and that cured it.

All '15 (and newer) SRT's have the 6 piston Brembo's with the 2 pc rotors. Oddly enough, mine don't do this. :)

Mine clicked a little when new but went away on its own. Maybe due to tire rotations etc. Also, make sure your lugs are torqued to spec. 111 ft. lbs.

All '15 (and newer) SRT's have the 6 piston Brembo's with the 2 pc rotors. Oddly enough, mine don't do this. :)
Are you sure about this? I believe that all SRTs may have 4 piston brembos with one piece rotors - but I think the Dynamics Package is what upgrades them to 6 piston with 2 piece rotors. My friend just purchased 19 SP Charger and it has 4 piston, single piece rotors. I had to add dynamics package to mine to get them.

A scat Pack is an R/T, not a SRT. SRT were...the discontinued SRT of course, and now the Hellcats

Yeah I just figured because SRT line was discontinued, which used to include the 6.2L, that the Scat Pack is now considered SRT. However, the Dynamics Package has existed for multiple model years, right? I don't think it's stock on an SRT (15-18) or Scat Pack (19) without option added.

I guess I'm missing your point. The statement was "All '15 (and newer) SRT's have the 6 piston Brembo's with the 2 pc rotors ", not that they had the Dynamics Package?

The dynamics package is how you get 6 piston brembos and 2 piece rotors stock on our cars. 4 piston brembos with 1 piece rotors are what come stock.

Yes, you can get 6 piston with the Dynamics package, but it doesn't change the fact all 2015+ SRT have them stock ;)

I'm not trying to be a weiner, but I don't think so man. My friend just bought a bonestock Scat, which has 4 piston / 1 piece rotors stock.
