Has any one installed the old style SRT8 spoiler (non-392) on a 2012 or newer R/T ? If so, is it a simple swap or was it a complicated installation. Appreciate any input.

Are the canards different than the ones from the R/T ? And, do the holes on the SRT spoiler align with the ones on the R/T, or new ones have to be drilled. Appreciate the help.

I mounted a 2008-2010 SRT spoiler to my R/T by just drilling new holes to line up with the SRT spoiler. Piece of cake.

Subscribing since that would be my preferred front spoiler option.

Take it easy

If I recall correctly they are the same held in with 3 push pins, as for the SRT Chin spoiler you have to drill a couple of holes and then use push pins to hold it in place. Just be careful with the tabs as they are soft also be sure to use all the factory fasteners. you can also get the ducts so it moves air towards your brakes.

Thanks for the info, appreciate it. Do any of you know if there is a write up or video for this swap. Sounds kind of simple, but just to have a better idea of where to drill, remove etc. Thanks again guys for your input. :bigthumb:

Isn't that the 392 chin spoiler?

I did the swap and it was a pain in the azz . Chin spoiler did not come off easy. Then when everything was ready to put the belly pan on. The passenger side duct work would not fit properly because they added an electric power steering unit. 2014 RT parts are different. I had to use a wiz wheel to cut the top of the brake duct to make it fit properly.
