Want to do this tonite, I got all my info from everyone.
Just one question..Are we positive I need to disconnect
the battery? This is actually the only nerve racking step for me.
Did this with my wifes caddy...and mildly screwed up a few
elect. settings. Just dont want to have a elect. issue to contend
with... Can I get someone to advise?

YES!!! it is TOO EASY to trigger the airbag - disconnect the battery

conversely - get a custom steering wheel badge made up and mount it OVER the stock badge - no fuss no muss no prob

i never, ever, ever work around air bags with the power on to the car. way too dangerous. i go so far as to pull the fuse and wait 20 minutes after everything is dissconnected just to be safe.

i seen somewhere also to turn on the head lights after you disconnect the battery to drain the capacitor for the airbag system too. please do your homework before you get into this!!!

Is there any place that sells something that goes "over" the existing rams head?

Also, HEMI2NV, yours looks real good. What did you do? BT? Removal of original?

Any issues with electronics after disconnecting the battery? How tough was removing the original piece of junk?

No issue with the batt. disconnect. No power options/memory loss. still a bit of a pain to
try to remove the 3 push washers that hold the bade on the reverse side. No good way to do it other than man handle it. I took a buter knife and slowly pried the front to remove.
