I've been searching the performance forums for someone who has some experience in rear tires, specifically a DOT approved radial that will offer the best traction. Is there a tire that will offer reasonable traction for both street and strip? I noticed a member suggesting the 20" Nitto tire. Because I plan to buy a pair of factory wheels to mount the sticky tires on, I want to make sure I buy the RIGHT tires (or it will be an expensive mistake). If anyone out there can offer help I would greatly appreciate it. My car is all factory with the exception of the Kenne Bell supercharger. 2 drive pulleys- one that puts out 8 lbs of boost using pump gas (mid 11's on the 1/4 mile), and a 3 inch pulley which bumps the boost to 12 (high 10's on the 1/4 mile). The above times depend on traction, so I need to know if the 20" Nitto will do the job. thx!
