JUST DROVE FROM FLA TO VEGAS WITH MY 2010 SRT 8 CHALLENGER. THE CAR HAD 1000 MILES PRIOR
TO THE TRIP WE GOT 25.00 MPG ON THE TRIP NO PROBLEMS. HOWEVER JUST NOTICED A TICKING SOUND
AT START UP AND INTERMITTENT TIMES.PERFORMANCE IS FINE NO SOUND AFTER PUTTING INTO GEAR
STOPPED AT DEALER HE THOUGHT MAYBE FAN MOTOR WAS GOING OUT?. COULD BLADE BE BENT ETC
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT

Check the front radiator baffle (piece of rubber that connects to each side of the radiator). It has been know to fall off and drop to the bottom of the radiator fans.

It'll cause the ticking/clicking noise you mentioned and it will be intermittent.
