Fully opened the sunroof and no it won't close all the way. Once it touches the black drop down air flow thingy it reopens to about half way. I can keep tapping the button and close it until it touches the air flow piece but that's as far as it will go. I tried pushing it shut while it's moving and I tried pushing it down from outside. I cycled the key on and off several times. I also pulled fuse #44. No joy. HELP!!!!!!

Unhooked the battery and still no close. I after much pulling from the inside, pushing from the outside, holding the power button full open and full close until it would stop, I finally got it closed. I pulled fuse #44 and tossed it the glove box.

Are you thinking you'd like to have the dealer take a look? Send me a direct message with your VIN if you need any help with that process.

It took a bunch of messing with but it appears to be back working. Just disappointing to have yet another issue. Thanks tho!

My 2011 Challenger has the same issue, when I go to close it the wind deflector will not detract and it causes the sunroof to go back halfway. I am finding very little info in the forums on this issue! I don't want to go to a delaership but may have to if it continues. Can anyone help?

See if this helps, not sure if it applies to 2011/2012

Thank you A Guy, unfortunately this did not work. I cannot even calibrate because the deflector stays up in the way unless I physically hold it down while I close the roof and pull my finger at the last minute! It seems something may have broken within the track that lays the deflector down before the glass reaches it to fully close. I may just have to fold and go to the dealer, I’m over 103k on this girl. Still going strong!

Take a couple of pictures of the mechanism, us with sunroofs can compare. For now, maybe tie a black thread to it so you can at least pull it down without keeping fingers up there.
Does it go up too far now? I think there is a strap that limits it.

Thanks Pioneer4x4 I will do that. Is the mechanism right where the glass normally vents, behind where the manual sun roof cover sticks out? Maybe I can post a video if this site can support it, then you can actually see it in action. Let me know and thanks again.
