We received the Green with Envy painted front strut tower brace today and the color match and paint quality is absolutely perfect. This bar not only looks factory, but performs better than any other strut tower brace since it's one piece (without joints) and replaces the factory cross bar, for much improved front end rigidity.

Of course, we had to install it right away ...

Special thanks to Paul at REM (he makes all SX bars for us) for this special GWE one!!

If you want one, you can order it here: Speedlogix Strut Tower Brace 05-11 Challenger, Charger, 300, Magnum

Thanks,
Lisa.

Is the price for this item $479
Yes, that is the painted (GWE) price.

Do we have to have the speedlogix plate on the bar. I just think it would look more stock without your name on it.
You can remove it if you would like. The badge is partly hidden under the cowl when you look at it straight on.

Here is a review from one of our customers (I would link the thread but I can't on this forum)

WOW!

I have three miles worth of 25-30 MPH curves when leaving my house to go to work, so I have always been "testing" those curves to see how fast I can take them. Before I got the RE bar, the Charger could take most of them 45-50 MPH no problem, but there was a lot of body roll and dipping on one side going around those curves that fast.

Today I decided to take those curves again. I must say I am impressed! The car responds so much better in the curves, feels tighter, and the sway and dipping to one side in the front is at least 10x better.

If you have not gotten one of these, I recommend them highly. I cannot wait to get the rear one and the chassis braces now!

Speedlogix helped me out big time on a mistake that I made, and their customer service is top notch. You wont be sorry!

Thanks Speedlogix!

these bars have had a great reputation in the LX community. you'll never find anyone that's been disappointed in their choice with this bar. hmmmm....i'd like to do a mod shootout with all the bars with maybe some skidpad testing....hahahah

Then it will have the 2 rivit holes in it won't it.

Very nice product but a little too expensive but thats just my opinion
The regular black wrinkle powder coat bar is $279 (so much less expensive) but in order to paint it like OEM there is a fair amount of work (sand, prime, paint, clear coat, buff, etc.) and the GWE paint is pricey, so that is why there is a $200 painting charge. I hear you on the painting cost, and if we could do it cheaper, I definitely would.

Is the hood pin switch retained and stays properly mounted?
Yes.

I may order one not powder coated and get a color spray bomb and clear coat spray bomb from express paint and give it a whirl. Or.. just stick with the clear coat.

FWIW, I would pay $75 more for a factory color paint job option. :D

Huggy, IMO, any bar is better than no bar, and some have stated that the factory should have put them on as "standard", especially the "392".

I was like you in my original thinking about strut bars. However, after installing a Mopar front bar, my attitude changed right off the bat.

Even though mine is just an R/T with the little "345", I could tell that the complete front of the car felt "stiffer", with no effects on ride, but more control in steering and handling areas. Just a better "feel" to the car, especially on "twisties".

We'll never see "performance numbers" between bar brands. There's just too many variables in testing, and base numbers on how much body flex there is has never been documented to my knowledge.

I can say that "body flex" will over time, cause metal fatique. That in turn will cause a "looser" car in time. A brace can't do anything but help reduce this fatigue.

That GWE under the hood looks great. Price is subjective, but let's face it, if you want to "play", you gotta "pay". Getting a matching color bar, with all the prep work done for a good look, isn't cheap.

Time is money, and those who want that matching look can't get it for nothing.

Nice job IMO.

I assume it has the mounting gizmo thingy on the back side for the wiper motor?

And the PCM mounts to it?

I can't spot it in any of the photos.
