When I start up the car I hear a weird clunk sound. It only does it about 50% of the time but I find that mostly when the engine is hot. Anyone else have this issue?

Front. Almost like when my old car would shift into drive you could feel it.

Wow, I really appreciate your help. Maybe just using premium gas will help avoid this you think? I will hit up the dealership and ask them about that as well. Sorry I am new to all of this. Will pre detonation cause further issues?

Mine sounds like it’s in the front. Like transmission clunk
