A few months ago I changed the exhaust on my 2016 SXT Challenger. I put in Cherry bomb extreme mufflers, removed the resonators and replaced them with 2.5" pipes for the sound alone. I wasn't dissapointed, it sounds pretty good, especially on a cold start. It didn't take too long for me to find out that there would be a single loud pop coming out of the exhaust if I redlined it, but I didn't do this too often. I've had the exhaust sytem like this for a while and I found out that I can make a loud pop or minor pops happen if I drive without sport mode on, take it up to 5ish rpm, let go and then step on the throttle again. Anyways, I just want to know, will doing this cause damage to the car? Also, I haven't tuned it and it's an automatic.
