i was just wondering if i should have to worry about breaking my half shafts if i were to add drag radials along with the full blown hopnot kit seeing that it will hook up even more now and i've read that the half shafts are weak points on these cars. i plan on only doing the mods in my signature below, so no blowers or nitrous!

thanks.

I think it depends on how you launch. High RPM clutch dumps will break parts no matter how much horsepower. Let out fast and easy and I think you'll be good for a while on the stock axles.

I think you will be fine with drag radials but I would stay away from slicks. Are you going to run the M/T's or the Nittos? Are you running on stock wheels or did you drop down to a 17"?

i'm planning on running NT05s on the stock 20" wheel. i'll take a look at the new MT DRs that are supposed to come out spring of '11 as well.

thanks guys for the responses.
