Has anyone installed a throttle body spacer on their Challenger? Some claim it will improve low-end torque and horsepower, and even increased fuel efficiency. Any truth to any of this? :scratchhead:

Thanks,

I don't have one but unless somebody can post up some repeatable dyno numbers, I'd say it is a total waste of time and money.

Go through the forum here and see what really works. You'll know by most peoples mods list. Congratulations on the R/T! That silly grin you have now will never go away completely.

To be honest, don't expect any performance increase, I added one to my prior car (FJ Cruiser) and loved the sound it made though, when pressing the gas down @ 2k rpm-2.5k it made a "whoosh" sound that reminded me of a turbo spool, very neat sound not sure if it'd do it in the Challenger...I had a AFE Silverbullet Throttle Body Spacer

No performance value. But, some come in nice anodized colors, so there may be a little "appearance" value under the hood - but that's all.
