Tire choice

I've decided I just can't put up with the 10 spoke wheels on my car, so I'm going to replace them with Demon reps. We did a test fit of the 20x10.5 rears and I don't like the fitment - too far to the outside of the fenderwell - so I'm just going to go 20x9.5's all around and run 275/40/20's. The car is a 2019 RWD GT Performance Package car, so it weighs 200 pounds less than a Scat Pack. I'm just moving up to Reno/Sparks but will be driving down to the Bay Area (over the Sierra Nevada mountains) once a week to visit my mom and then go to work - a 500-600 mile round trip, so 24K miles a year just doing that on top of other normal driving. I'll drive in dry and rain, but I'll pick up something in awd/4wd for snow driving.

I do tend to put it through corners pretty hard and I'm also looking at doing Hotchkiss springs and sway bars.

Currently looking at the Conti DWS06 or the Nitto 555 G2 tires. Any other suggestions for something that has good tread wear (at least 300)?

If you are just making road trips I wouldn't get the 555's. They are more performance tires.

Nitto Motivo have a 500 or 580 tread depth and is a 50k tire. I have the 275/40/20 on my rear end and they have been really good.
When my fronts need replacing I'm going to go with them on the front with the same 275 size. Right now I have 245's in front.
But I don't have snow where I'm at so can't comment on that aspect of them but they will last longer than the 555's and cost less.

That's just one tire....hec there are several in that size....and I happen to like Cooper tires as well.
Continental extreme contact have good reviews but I never used them. They are about $35-40 per than the Nitto Motivos.
I have had Falkens as well. Have the Ziex mentioned earlier on my truck. They are OK but didn't last as long as I'd liked. Need to replace those soon and haven't got 40k out of them and it's been mostly highway driving.

Not against all Falkens, I just won't get those Ziex again. I have Falken G5 sport a/s on the front of my car now. Been pretty decent.
