I am about to pull the trigger on some American Racing 20x11 and 20x12 wheels for my 2021 SPWB. I don’t have the funds for new bigger tires (345/30) in the rear so can I use the 305/35 tires that came with the car?

No problem 305 on a 12". Just more strech than stock and meatier would be nicer.

A 305/35-20 tire will work on wheels from 10-12 inches wide.

Personally, I wouldn’t be able to wait. I’d do anything I could to get those 345’s on back there. Nothing wrong with having a backup set of 305’s for the front.

Are the new wheels forged or cast? Forged is way better and the stock wheels are forged.
