Hello Guys, I will do my best not to promote. Only here to help out if I can. So the Kits that come from us are Tuner kits. Meaning they do not come with the intercooler, piping, injectors, fuel pump, or tune. So this would have to be handled by the shop installing, or the customer themselves.
Update for everyone - I decided not to go with this kit at this time.
I am however documenting a local guys 2017 Scat Pack Challenger that has this blower on.
What I know so far is listed below.
1. Blower was a hair over 3k without any intercooler, injectors, plumbing ect..
2. He has had it peak at 7psi on his setup (magnaflow catback, and JBA Longtubes)
3. It made 615whp
4. He bought a procharger intercooler $1200
5. FI injectors unknown $
It has a wicked sound and he has had it on for over 6,000 miles. In under 4 months - he drives it every day 2.5 hours back and forth from work and school.
He claims he has under $5,200 into the whole setup.
So maybe Torqstorm can comment here, but the most expensive piece besides the blower seems to be the intercooler. I dont know what other options could be done - their input would be useful here. Hopefully mods let them talk freely as this kit shows MAJOR promise.
The only thing this gentleman stated was his tuner noted the blower was "peaky" and a little harder to get the tune spot on. He claimed also the tuner stated the blower made more peak power and torque compared to others hes tuned (procharger and Vortech) and said that he was surprised as the purchaser said the kit was only supposed to make 5lbs.
Hello Guys, im trying not to step on any toes here so I will respond with caution.
Our systems come with the pieces to attach the blower to the engine with a designated 8 rib drive system to eliminate any chance for belt slip. By doing so we require the radiator to be lowered and moved forward. These brackets are also included in the kit. Our strategy is to build the best parts possible at the most competitive prices. This is the reason we do not include fuel injectors, pump, or intercooler. This allows the customer or shop to choose the route they wish to take, in their budget. We have done several of these installs in the shop and are more than happy to help anyone throughout their build. Weather its helping them choose which injectors to use or helping locate a tuning shop in their area. For anymore details feel free to private message me here.
I’m new to this forum but have read some good stuff here. I have a 2015 Challenger SRT with a supercharged 392. When I am slowing to come to a light or just in traffic, my car will die/stall every so often. It starts right back up every time but I don’t like it. Anyone experience this? Is there...
I just ordered the TSV2300 for my '14. From research I know I need their 3.2" .440 offset pulley. But I've also heard I'll need a new belt. And I have no idea at what point in the install process that I make this conversion.
I have a 2014 Srt8 6.4 6 speed, and I want a supercharger. But I want the best rated, most reliable, and one you can upgrade with a smaller pulley or whatever. Can anyone suggest a manufacturer and model please. Thank you
Trying to get these iats down for some more power. After forging my motor and going to the 2.75 sc pulley I ended up losing a bit of power ?. Had to go with a emp reprogrammed water pump ditch the stock edelbrock heat exchanger and go with the whipple oversized heat exchanger. That made a huge...
