Now that it's stopped raining and I've had a chance to do some "spirited" driving I'm noticing a real severe case of "go left" with any heavy throttle at lower speeds; is this common to the breed or do I have a problem?

I know the term "torque steer" is mostly referring to FWD cars but that's what it feels like to me.

When I do burnouts and have not properly aligned front and rear, she will drift slightly to the left during burns. Hard drags there is no noticable pull either direction.

If you're experiencing something similar to torque steer (which I've experienced on my wife's Mini Cooper S), I would think somethings afoot albeit I know not what to suggest here.
