I just had new aftermarket wheels and tires put on my 2015 Challenger Base R/T, and I bought new TPMS sensors, part number 56029398AB. However, the car is not pickng them up, After a few miles I got a "Service TPMS System" message and all 4 tires are showing "--". I just got back from the tire shop, I bought the sensors so it's my fault, not theirs.

Did I buy the wrong sensors? Maybe something I need to clear? Everything I have read said that they would just be picked up by the system. Is that incorrect?

From what I am finding out, that TPMS sensor works on 2014 and earlier models. You need this one 56029400AE

How far have you driven the car? I have found it might take up to 10 miles for the car to recognize them.

I've driven it quite a bit today, more than 10 miles - I also read that you may need to drive it over 25 mph uninterrupted for like 20 minutes (or something like that). My wife's response when I told her was "In New Jersey? Good luck with that."
