Trinity and Intune DCX questions

I'm thinking about getting the either the Trinity or Intune DCX. The only real mod on my manual 5.7 Challenger RT is a frankintake. Eventually I'll change the thermostat and maybe the headers. I'm interested in improving my MPG along with some extra power and tweaking some settings like the skip shift.

Since these tuners only come with the 93 and 91 octane tunes is anybody seeing a MPG increase to go along with the power increases?

What are you getting for HP Torque and MPG with the tuner?

Currently on two trips from Baton Rouge LA, to Jacksonville FL I'm getting 26.9 mpg without the intake and 24.9 with it.

Thanks.

2014 R/T Shaker, Magna exhaust,intune:
Base Dyno 327 whp:356 Torque..
Immediate results are 358 whp and 389 torque.
Going back in this week to "tweak" intune.
Dyno is a DynoJet if matters. I'm happy!
Can't assist with mpg yet-
Thanks. So is anybody getting worse mileage (baring a heavier throttle foot) :)
Capt, I am running the intune with the 91 tune and I am getting 20-21 city and 22-23 highway mileage with the MDS turned off.
I would also recommend getting a custom tune from Johan. You will not believe how much better the car will run and shift. If you are running with MDS on you might get a couple more MPG.
Yeah, I'm thinking of getting the INTune and a custom tune from him. I have a manual so I don't need to worry about the MDS but I also don't want my mileage to drop. :)
If your driving style is the same with the tune, it will be better. Remember, we have great deals for forum members on Diablo. Call/email/PM us for details!

the type of Dyno does matter, a Dynojet vs a mustang..a mustang dyno puts a load on the vehicle, where a dynojet free spins. a dynojet will show 15hp or so more on average...

if you use the same dyno for the before and after then the increase is what it is.
