Maybe it's just me, but no thanks to all that. Seriously don't want a touch-screen confusion center in my muscle car.

Give me old-school gauges; Tach, Oil Pressure, Water Temp, and Manifold Pressure, and a 6-speed.

I say confuse the hell out of me, the more tech the better...it keeps the thrill of a new ride lasting longer. LOL

I would love old school actual gauges, but it will never happen. I think a few years ago (2011) Ralph addressed this issue before the Gen V debuted and said it was expensive to have real gauges compared to configurable digital display.

Maybe it's a generational thing but I like this setup. This is far beyond the similar style setup in my GT500. Well done SRT.

Classic cars with "real gauges" are for sale all over, Ill take my muscle modern with Bluetooth, satellite radio and heated steering wheel. I've wanted the new HUD and infocenter since the Charger got 'em 2 years ago.

They gave us the best of both worlds here, classic styling with modern technology. They let us keep our muscle car and added all the modern conveniences. It's not just limited to the gauges. The engine, suspension and braking wouldn't be what they are without changes and advancements in technology.

Look at it this way, we could have gone with the other supposed muscle cars, the Mustang that looks more like a Euro sports car, or the Camaro that looks like something out of a sci fi movie. At least Dodge left the soul in the car.

That is very true. The 2015 Mustang doesn't look like a Mustang to me. The side view, the rear view and the front end are quite ugly. Although,.....I do love the way my '13 Roush Stage 3 looks. Looks like a muscle car, and drives like one and sounds like one. lol :facelick:
The Camaro,.....yeah,.......ugly. I've tried to like them,.....can't do it. The rear end and the rear quarter panels kill it for me. I do like what they did to the front end and tail lights now though. :grinbiginvert:

Not to derail the thread, but yeah generally the special Mustangs look better to me as well, somewhat beefier and more menacing. I don't dislike them, I'm not trying to talk crap about either car, its just my opinion and some people will love them for the same reason I don't.

For the record, I'm all about moving forward and leveraging technology.......but not in my muscle car. This is why I did not look seriously at the Charger, even though wife & kids loved it----too much video game stuff for me.

I couldn't agree with Danner more.
