So over the past 7 days I've manged to get rocks chipping paint on my hood. A$$HOLES that ca't clean off a trailer and well, now I'm missing paint in like three spots.

Anyway, I wanted to know if vinyl wrapping might be a way to not only protect my sanity, but will I be making a mistake.

I'd like to wrap the hood in a satin black. Guess I need to get some ideas from you all about if this is a good idea, or would I be wasting money?

Thanks in advance.

Back when I had a 2009 SE, I put wide vinyl stripes on the hood. Vinyl gets nicked with rocks too. Land vehicle Vehicle Car Hood Muscle car

It would be a waste of money. Vinyl would give you a minimal amount of added protection. Best thing to do would be repair the 3 spots and add ppf
