I have a stock radio with factory uconnect, sat radio, and iPod integration. I want to upgrade to a MyGig non nav and need to know what I need to retain the uconnect and the iPod integration. I already have the auto dimming mirror with the dual mic. Thanks!

Your alright posting it here. People do those upgrades all the time. Mine came with the right radio but I've read enough threads on here to know someone like Tony (S/S Dodge) will chime in and help soon. He's on about every night.

If you are going with a non-navigation, (REN), unit, it should be just a plug and play with a low speed BUS.
The problems start when you try to go to a navigation, (RER) unit.
The u-connect is external in the REN unit, like your factory unit.
The RER unit has an internal u-connect.
HERE'S a link on which units will interchange with yours, a low speed BUS.
2011 will not work with anything 2010 and older.

Are there different RENs besides low and high speed? Will all low speed RENs have sat, uconnect, and ipod integration? I want to be plug and play.
