I think the title says most of it.

I'm looking for a 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic in B5 Blue with a 6Spd manual transmission.

Moon roof would be nice but not required.
Also, the track pack would be cool, but, again, not required.

I'm located in Phoenix, AZ, and would like to find something relatively nearby (say, within 200-300 miles).

Any leads would be helpful.

If you use the New Vehicle Locator on the Dodge website, selecting the 2010 Challenger. On the next page, just select the color, input A zip, and select 200-mile search radius. The dealers that have a B5 Blue will come up with a number listed, all others will say "Contact Dealer". If there's a number, click on the dealer, click on the B5 in their Challenger inventory, and click on "View Window Sticker" to see the car's specific options (the right-hand side column!).

You can put in zips for every major/overlapping city into the Dodge website until you cover all of the United States (and I can tell you that it is rather tedious), but I guarantee you'll find one. I searched nationwide for Furious Fuchsia and Plum Crazy R/T's in Auto or Man with the Super Track Pack. The majority of the HIP-colored Classics I found were in the Mid-Atlantic region (IL,OH,PA,MD,etc.). There was hardly anything out west.

Even if no one local has one, and you find one at a dealer 600 miles away, you can still work a long distance, even exclusively online, deal with them. I'd suggest dealing with the long distance dealer to cut out the pie-wanting middleman of your local dealership. Unless you have a trusted, local dealership that is. They can transfer the car to your local dealership for no or minimal cost, or even drive it to you!

BTW, I've read and been told to try and talk to fleet sales at the dealerships. They work on quantity sold and not on commission, so they're easier to bargain with with less hassle. Also request to see their Invoice for the car--you definitely shouldn't be paying over that amount for a 2010.

If you really want it, you can make it happen. Good luck!

Here is what you want, but no track pack.

2010 Dodge Challenger R/T For Sale | Waupun WI

Since they are all the same, there is no need to test drive it. You can have it shipped by a company that does that. Or, I'll drive it to you and visit my brother. But, who wants a new car with 2,000 miles on it. $5,400 off, not too bad. If I could put my radio in it, I'd think about it. Good luck in your search.

GREAT MAN! Congratulations to you.

What kind of deal did they do? i bet they are lowering the pricing since the 2011's are out.

When i first saw the B5's on here in 2009 i didn't like them, and then when i went to pick up my red Classic at the dealership i really liked the way the B5 looked in person.

Have fun with it

For all those wanting to know what kind of deal I got:

First, the thing is LOADED!! I think it's got just about every option you can get:
RT Classic package, 27M
Electronics Convenience Group
Sound Group II
Track Pak
Power Sunroof
HID Headlamps
Engine Block Heater (not that I'll need it in Phoenix)
Media Center 730N CD/DVD/HDD/NAV Radio

Total MSRP: $40,605

I paid $30500. No trade in. I provided my own financing.
In the B5 Blue with the 6spd manual.... I would've paid more :)

Congrats on the purchase and find! What color side stripes does it have? Any plans formulating yet on what you want to do with your Challenger yet (looks-wise)?

Side stripes are in black. i've yet to see them in any other color on the B5 Blue R/T Classic. Did they also make it with white stripes?

Anyway, I love the way it looks right now, as is. The only thing I think i'd consider is an aftermarket SRT-esque black hood stripe. When I was looking for mine, i found one that had done that and it looked pretty bad-ass (i'm pretty sure it's sold now):

Now that is a great deal. The quotes I have seen for a similar car are between 32,890-34,995. What did they offer first? How much negotiating was there?

Not much negotiating, actually.

The dealer had it _listed_ on autotrader.com for $31963.
I emailed the dealership and offered them $29000. They emailed back and countered with $30,500.
I said yes. End of negotiation.

I too had seen several in the price range you mentioned (new and used). I was actually talking to a few other dealerships with pretty much exactly the same car, but some of them weren't really interested in negotiating over email (not that they said that in so many words, but it was pretty clear). I could have kept going probably trying to play the dealerships off of each other, but I was more than willing to pay $30,500 for that vehicle, so i put a $500 deposit down and flew up there to get it. What a ride home!! :eek:hyeah:
