Just mounted four Weld wheels on my RT. 17X9 with M&H 275/50R 17 rear. 17X7 with BFG 225/60R 17 TA's on front. At least a 50# drop in weight. Plan to run street and strip. One challenge I bought 4 Mopar TPMS's for the Weld wheels they don't fit. Back to the drawing board. Just made it back snap 2 pic's before the rain started. More pic's in near future.

Car looks real nice with the wheels. Is your car stock height. What pad height and wheel backspacing were the wheels. If you can get pictures looking down the side to see the difference in tire width it would be greatly appreciated. Why wouldn't the tpms fit.

The car is stock height. You need the High pads to clear the larger brakes front and rear. BS on rears is 5.8 front 4.2. Rear tires are 28+ Dia and width is 11.5, 10" tread. fronts are 27.4 dia. width is 8", 7" tread. If it ever stops raining this week I'll take some pic's down the side. The car has a nice aggressive forward leaning cant.

Bought the Weld wheels from Jim's Racing Tire 1-800-281-0409 free shipping, lugs and no sales taxes. Wait time of 3 weeks for build. Rear wheels are 71MP-7090W63A if you plan to add bigger brakes or have an SRT you'll need the High pads (HP)to clear. The fronts are 71HP7070W42A. I should have got the 17X10 they will fit the rear. I thought I had a problem with the STP larger sway but when you fit them before tires are mounted you need to put a jack under the hub arm to raise and it level the hub. The sway bar clears by a good 2". Call Greg or Gail at Weld Racing he can help you out with the wheels then order from Jim's.

Who did you buy the rims from and would you have the part#s.

Well I ordered a set of the Weld RT-S polished wheels from Jim's Racing. I called Weld to get the part #'s that would fit in the sizes I was looking for they said the medium pad height would work all around with the stock R/T brakes. I got 17x6 with a 4.3 B.S. for the front and 17x9 with a 6.3 B.S. for the rear. I plan on running street tires only with a 215-65-17 up front and 275-55-17 in the rear. Now have to wait the 3 weeks for delivery. Thanks for all the help.

Cool, paste some pic's up when you get them. What brand of tires did you get? Interested in rear 275-55-17. My are M&H 275/50R 17's 28" dia. The 55 should fill the rear wheel well great. Good luck

I really wanted to fill the wheel wells as much as possible and I have been after that 'Old School Look". This should make the car more personalized instead of the cookie cutter look. I ended up buying Hankook Tires for both front and back, H724's for the front and Ventus AS RH07's for the back. Why couldn't you mount the tpms in the rims. How long did it take to get the rims after you ordered them.

Looks like a race car for sure. Nice work. Have you had the M&Hs to the track yet if so how do you like them.
