I no this is a challenger forum but any tip that help you go faster even from a jeep owner will help. We in CA have the lowest oxygented gas and octane with 91 and 1.8% oxygen. Even tho we had good DA last night i have tried a lot of diff unleded octanes + my CMR DYNO TUNE with bad DA that has really woke up the motor. Heres thursdays runs on our local 1/8 mile track.
Well i da the track wed night and knew on thursday there was going to be some -DA so i decided to go with 93 octane for my P/B. The humidty was hi so that means a possiblity of a slick track. I ask the water guy to not water my lane as i was the 1st to make a pass and he said ok and that was the fastest pass of the night. Runs 3&4 is where the humidity came in and the track got slippery and every 1 started to spin off the line and you can see the later it got the lower the 60' times. Heres the runs. My old P/B with 93 octane was [email protected]@+557 ft on my last time out.
Because it cost so much to have vp or sunoco ship me out 10 gal of eastern 93 octane they both told me how to make it to get the right octane and oxygen mix. It comes very close. Now this is with CA 87 OCTANE and the mix is 6 gal 87 + 3 gal unleded vp109 (105 octane with 6.3% oxygen) that gives you 93 octane with 3.15% and thats as close as i could get to eastern 93 that has 3.5/3.8% oxygen. I hope this helps any of you and good luck. Remember i only have 2 mods and my race wt is heavy.

What part of ca do you live in? You can get 100 octane at the pump fairly easily.

Just wondering how you converted your 1/8 to a 1/4 mile time?

I've ran a 12.450 @ 107.6 and my 1/8mile was a 7.91 @ 86.5..but there was some pretty bad head wind as you can tell from the video below

Good runs. Jeeps get with the program. Suck not having finding good fuel. At pumps we only have 91 oct. I use sunnco 94 and its pricy at 4.70 gal.
Torco may be the answer for you in cali. I will be using it more for sure.

LOL well yes that would be a booster but that stuff is a little to rich for me. One of these days i just might make it out there and run the 1/4 mile when the DA IS RIGHT LOL. I think sun they had to shut the summit guys down to 1/8 mile because of the winds.
