the build sheets are the "broadcast sheet" that is taped to the car and there's another for the dash / IP cluster assembly.
There's about 4 / 5 of them - they tell the assembly line workers which components are assigned to a vehicle / VIN #. The parts are intermixed on the assembly line as a Challenger, Charger or 300 all run down the line.
There's also an equipment listing that the dealer can run - it shows all the equipment by sales code (its about 5 pages long) that indicates equipment, paint color, interior trim levels, interior color etc.

I think I may have to take my car in and have the timing chain recall work done to my engine, but I’m pretty sure I will have to pay for the service instead of getting it done gratis as a recall. I know it will be expensive, but I would like an idea of how expensive so I can plan accordingly...
