I can't quite put my finger on it. The bodies are the same, except the front lower air-dam. It is ride height? Or wheel offset? I am comparing the SRT to the R/T classic. Both have 20" wheels, but the SRT looks so much meaner. What is it?

What makes the SRT look so much more aggressive than the R/T?

i would think it's just your imagination. since i prefer the R/T.

To the uneducated eye, they all look the same. The average person wouldn't know the difference between the SE, R/T & SRT8. While the differences are minimal, the SRT has the bigger chin spoiler, lower ride, and red Brembo brakes. I like the rims and stripes on the R/T classic better.

To me:

- The SRT wheels.
- The black spoiler.
- The Carbon stripes on the hood.

I like most of the Challenger wheels, but I LOVE the SRT wheels, and I think they fill up the wheelwell really nicely, making it look tougher? Beefier? Plus they are aluminium and not chrome. Chrome wheels have never made a car look 'tough', they kind of wimp a car out IMHO. Not that that is 'bad'. I think an RT with the 20 Chrome-clads looks AWESOME, and i would buy one, but have you ever seen a race car with chrome wheels?

A black spoiler just screams Musclecar. Although I like the fact that Chrysler went with the different spoilers on the SRT and the RT, i prefer the flat black. On the new SRT's, they blew it, IMO. When the 2011 SRT's have the Shelby stripes, they look tough/racecar, but a stripe delete SRT is no different than an RT now, other than the mags. Swap the mags out they look the same. It would be interesting to see a pic of an RT with SRT wheels....

Miss the carbon fibre stripes, very, very cool look imo. It's only worth 2 cents, but there you go...

I have to agree with most people here, there are only few differences from the outside...I think it just boils down to personal opinion...IMHO who wants fake carbon fiber stripes, not this guy! And 10k (MSRP) more, you can have it!

1" Lower? Wow, that's most likely what I am seeing. So has anyone put SRT springs on the RT? Or do people use Eibach? I love the stance of the SRT, but more and more as reality hits, there is no way that's going to be a DD for me.

Yes here is a chrome race car wheel below. I think a tire can fill a wheel well much better than a wheel. I wish I could put a 17 or 18 wheel on my SRT. If it wasn't for the brembos, I could and WOULD!

I agree with you on the rest though...lower stance, black spoiler and the hood stripe absolutely make the 08,09,10 SRT's stand out over the two other offerings...as they should.

1. Lower Stance
2. Aggressive/bigger front/rear spoiler
3. Brembos
4. Aggressive stripes
5. Tires(255 option)
I agree 80% with you lol I don't think most people will see much of a difference between 255/45s and 245/45s so to me thats not one of its "meaner" traits. But everything else listed is definitely what I'd side with.

Here's a comparison between an IE 392 and my 09 R/T
