If you can get it someplace like a real supplier (check airgas.com) you can get it a lot cheaper, half of the cost of a place like Jegs. At Jegs figure at least $4-$5 a lb. (50 for a 10lb bottle)

Thanks for the reply.
I"ve heard welding shops sell it but I really have not checked.
Not really going to put nitrous on the car but I thought it was a good subject that I haven't seen anyone ask yet.

I usually go to the local speed shop. They charge $4.00 a pound. Break out the phone book/superpages online and make some calls.

We are at 4.00 to 5.00 pd at the other speed shops here in nwa. My friends speed shop has the transfer station for filling 10lb bottles and his cost is around 2.50lb he said and I get it for that price. I have been told by heavy spray users, you can at times get a bottle thats contaminated with solids and by bad gases. I use a micron filter for the n20 before the solonids for the solids. Gas contamination, get a refund.
