I see a lot of posts on here that people are only using the 392's as weekend cruisers. I bought mine as my daily driver. I just wondered how many else are driving theirs?

I wish mine was a daily driver, but I'd like it to last more than a few years. My commute would wear it out quickly.

Bought mine this past weekend and immediately put 200 miles on it that weekend (drive home was 153 miles). I'm sitting at 500 miles already.. Drove it most of this week, even in the rain. It's just HARD not to drive it!

Daily driver. I'm at just under 400 miles in under 2 weeks. This is a great daily driver. Heck, I drove my 07 Vette for 4 years, year round, on summer only tires, so this will do just fine.

This really is a nice car to drive all the time. Happy sitting in traffic, extremely comfortable, lots of tech stuff to keep any one satisfied, and then there is the occassional chance to open it up a little bit.

Both SRT8's are daily drivers no garage queens here why save them for someone else.Lifes too short.

I totally agree I have 3,200 miles on my car. Cars are made to be driven. I can't see keeping a car and not driving it. I drive my Grand National and my 68 Charger, you have to enjoy life, screw the miles.

I know this is a ridiculous question but what do you assume expected lifetime of the srt8 if properly maintained and cared for?

As long as you are willing to put money into it it will run forever. My boyfriends 58 Chevrolet is proof of that!

Mine is a daily driver. I do have a pretty short commute though. My last car just crossed 30k miles after 5 years when I traded it in on my 392 IE. I am thinking about getting a cheaper old car to drive on the days when its stormy out.
