Since we have our man and the date. Who is going to Houston for the event?

Have they announced an "official" hotel. If not we need to pick one to be CT central. I am definitely planning on driving over and I am pretty sure BuckWheat is as well. I would also bet that we get a good turnout from the Cenla Challenger boys, and BW and I will be talking to all the guys at the SHR Christmas Party tomorrow night.

I know we have some great members over that way that can help us pick a place.

This is a great opportunity to have a little meet and greet and give Jeff some support.

Hell, just cruise down to Norfolk and jump on Southwest for $250 round trip and ride with one of us when you get there.

This is my first year with a Challenger and on a forum. Is this a run between forums, a who knows more, just a meet and greet, or what?

All,

Hotel depends on what you're up for. Baytown is an industrial town about 20 miles East of the Eastern edge of Houston, say 30-35 miles from Houston's downtown. So the question is do you want to hang in H-town and roll in for the events or stay in Baytown and bring the socializing to Baytown? If you guys need a recommend on a hotel in H-town, let me know.

I think Jeff ought to make that call and I can look into a hotel if you want to be in a bigger town. I sent him a pm on a suggestion for Friday night and I think he's pretty clear on what he wants to do, so perhaps he'll let us know if it's Baytown, H-town or elsewhere.

BW may have an opinion on a hotel in Baytown since I believe his ride's been at HRP several times to compete. There will only be so many to choose from there so I don't think it'll be that hard to come up with one. Here's a list near the track...
