Same here!!!!

Same here. I got it from inadvertantly puting 87 octane instead of mid grade or premium. The got a code and stored it in the cars computer. Also reset your trottle body with the key on but not at start then press the gas petal three times with each time counting to 10 and on the third time turn the key off and then start the car. The trottle body will time with the fuel pressure in the lines. The car will sence that you are running a low octane and read fuel rich. Mine has never come back after 10.000 miles. I will call my dealer and get the code for you...George

Code

I appreciate that. I believe there top guys or on this but they are saying that it is not a computer issue. It is a leak. As a result they may need to remove the engine to find the leak.

My problem is that I DONT want the car back if they remove my engine. I am going to find out what part of the Lemon Law covers me from having to accept the fact that they need to remove my engine to make a repair. I am not confident of these local techs doing what I believe the mfr needs to do.

I also can only imagine the condition my car will be in once they remove my engine and mess around with it to that degree.

Months?

How can you be dealing with this for months. Have you been without the car? I will not deal for this more than a week. Once they have to start messing with this thing in a major way, I am done.

I would like to have another one made for me, but if not I will want my money back.

Also is a exhaust leak the same thing as a gas leak? I am not sure they are the same.

gas and exhaust arent the same. I have a dodge truck as well, and the challenger drives ok, not perfect. It does hesitate on accelration sometimes.

So I have been waiting for months for a fix. they have seen the car twice and are clueless. Check engine light comes on and goes off periodically.

Issue Resolved....Check Engine Light

Well...The catalytic converter is bad and one of the exhaust pipes has a leak.

Fix. They will repair the exhaust from the flange with bolts (not cut and weld) and a new catlytic converter.

3-5 biz days for parts to arrive and one day to install. Not as bad as I thought. I brought the car home instead of having it sit at dealer. I will keep you all posted.

Hello everyone. Well 2/14/2012 completes my 1 year anniversary of my 2011 White w/Blue stripes. Car #503 of 1100. Very satisfied with my purchase and it's performance. Added the Mopar CAI,flowmaster 40 exhaust, blue catch can system. Car is still an eye catcher when driven. In closing, the 2011 IE white w/blue stripes, car #503 has and will remain in my garage. To the Chrysler group and workers,"JOB WELL DONE".

How are you doing DH ? How many miles you got on that bundle of joy? I have really been enjoying my vehicle. I also have a very good friend that bought the Blue W/White stripes. Believe its car #7??. He and I spend a ton of time togather when he's off work. We really get a great deal of questions about the cars when we are parked and just chilling.
