Yea Speedy,,,right on, did you go out and pull that off just for the pic bro. ?
Its about the only place really it can go and not hit somewhere on the car, and be able to remove the wideband for replacment.

One other thing for those doing this.

Go by a muffler shop and ask for a bad O2 sensor. Screw that sensor in your bung before welding. It will keep the bung from deforming under the heat. Once welded and cool, remove the O2 sensor and install your wideband.
yes, i had my first one done with the cap in, it fused to the bung had to break it off and retap the bung, Second time i took it in i left the bung tap in the bung,

A company out there makes a no-weld kit. It a bung welded to a exhaust band clamp. You drill a hole in the pipe and install the clamp over it.

That's exactly what I used. I think it was like $10-20 from summit
