OEM tires on 20" wheels are 245/45/20.

Any concerns I should have if I want to go a bit wider on the rear tires? 255/45/20 for example.

Aside from not being able to rotate your tires, are there anything trade-offs in terms of day to day driveability?

How about warning lights? With the system think it's loosing traction as front and rear are not spinning at a different rate?

Yes, 255's will work, they are only a bit wider though, and a bit taller. Otherwise, you should have no driveability issues. If you are needing new tires I can see it, if you are doing it only for wider tires, I think you'd be disappointed.

275's would be the ticket, as the are the widest you can go on the stock wheels. I doubt you'd even be able to see the difference with 255's.

He's got 8" wheels, not 9".While you can no doubt mount 275s on 8" wheels, the minimum should be 9"

245/45/20 front and 255/45/20 rear was the factory size for SRTs up until 2015. So yes I can pretty much guarantee you'll have no problems, even with 8" wheels vs 9".
