OK, this is spooky..I am cleaning the engine bay 8 hrs after a little run in my SRT 8 when i get..burrrrt...a sort of electrical buzz type of sound..very short duration almost as if you hear a short.

I continue and 6-7 minutes later another ..burrrt..this time it seems to come from the driver side front area just back of where the hood closes onto the front yet not in the lights.
I continue to measure the frequency..next it is about 13.5 then 19 min..I am waiting to see what the next interval is...

In the mean time does anyone have any ideas..?? I don't expect you will unless you have experienced it yourself..BTW..no codes car runs great!

Man..with all the wealth of experience out there I thought someone would have run into this oddity before me and have a clue what is going on.

So it is still happening..on an irregular basis...get that short "buuzzt" and then half an hour or more later another one....too weird!!

There does not seem to be an associated indicators or malfunctions....just a ghost

Sounds like your standard Gremlin. No problem. Just ignor and it will go away.
