I have a nice 2006 Charger Daytona with a stock 5.7. I was thinking about putting a 6.4 intake on it but since mine is an older model I am not sure if the 6.4 intake will fit. Does anyone know if I can make this swap and if so what year model intake should I look for?
Will a 6.4 intake manifold fit on a stock 2006 5.7?

The 2009+ 5.7 and 2011+ 6.4 manifolds don't have provisions for EGR like your earlier year 5.7 has.
once the '09s came out with VVT (as the 6.4s have) EGR system was not necessary and therefore the provisions for it were eliminated
the other part is 6.4s have a active intake that use a solenoid to move from long runner (low rpm) to short runner (high rpm load) only the 6.4s have this in the Challenger line and no 5.7 applications for active intake are provided on Challengers
