I have a all black 2014 Challenger SRT. Only two things are chrome and I absolutely HATE because they stick out so much.

A: Fuel door. Easily fixed, I will get a can of Plasti-Dip and black it out this weekend. Why plastidip? If I don't like it, it peels off like electrical tape.

B: The chrome exhaust tips. I will be cutting off my resonators very soon. I wanted to know if black engine paint will hold up on the tips? By "hold up" I mean not peel, crack, etc. etc. I mean the exhaust tips can't get hotter than an engine, right?

If engine paint isn't the way to go, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks & God bless.

I used Rustoleum high heat ultra black semi gloss. It looks great and has held up for about a year.

Plasti dip. I have had my tips dipped matte black for months with no issues what so ever.

I went to muffler shop to delete reso's and he painted them with high temp rustoleum. Looks good.

With resos off, I swear buttdyno says car got faster.
