With the new 426 motor "coming out" do you think it will supply the 392 motor with bolt ons? Or believe a short block will bolt up to the heads?

Would love to have the SB with its bigger displacement, added hp and hopefully forged.

I don't think so. Different piston size and stroke. Only parts I re-used on my build was the intake and rocker assembly. Even swapped out the OE block for new.

It will probably be a new casting for the larger bore to achieve the 426 ci displacement.

The new heads would probably be a larger cc chamber.

Much like while 5.7 heads will bolt on a 392 block - the CR ends up being too high for practical use on pump gas.
