I just bought my 2013 Challenger SXT in November, and have had a very annoying(/embarrassing) problem since day 1. I bought the car from a private seller, through the shop my dad works at, I've never had contact with the seller to see if this had been happening before I got the car. We noticed immediately that the remote wasn't working. It won't lock/unlock, or open the trunk. So, I replaced the battery in the fobik thinking that it was a simple fix and there wasn't any underlying problem, however, it still doesn't work. More importantly, when I started driving the car regularly I noticed that about 1 in 8 times, it would start, run for about 2 seconds, then die. Very embarrassing when you're getting gas and hold up the line behind you because your car dies on you. For the life of me I can not find out what triggers it, or if there is a trigger at all. In the beginning it would sometimes say "key fob not detected" and other times the security light would blink, but now it does neither, it just shuts off. I can usually just cycle through the ignition modes (off, accessory, run) then put my foot back on the brake and try again and it starts right up and runs like a dream.

From the research I've done online and the car-savvy people I've talked to, I've narrowed it down to a few things that could be wrong.
1. The WIN module is bad
2. I need a new key
3. While it sat in a shop (Jul-Nov) it could have "lost connection" with the key
4. The minor rear end damage from the wreck could have damaged one of the antennas that communicate with the key

Number 1 or 2 seem most likely to me, but I really don't know a lot about computer problems in newer cars like this, I've always driven older stuff until now. The dealership is happy to diagnose the problem for me... for $250. I'm really hoping that someone here has had the same problem as me and can help me out, I'd really appreciate any help or new theories so I don't have to flush that 250 down the toilet.

If this is in the wrong forum, feel free to point me in the right direction.

WIN module

Have you fixed/replaced that yet? My car is randomly shutting off, and did it twice today on the way to work. Funny it happened after I gas up at the same place, and it rained. Not sure if this is related or just coincidence. But this random turning off is annoying.

I have brought it to my dealer many times and as long as it doesn't do it there or kick a code they won't fix it even though its under warranty and I have shown them video evidence of this happening and they just send it back with me to deal with
