So i took the R/T to the track and i was always under the impression that it was a posi due to prior experiences, however at the track it was a one legger and spun only the driver side tire. I spun the tires in the water to get them wet and it spun with both, when i did the burnout though only the driver side spun. Car has 19k miles is a 2013, dont really get on it much. i do go down some back roads here and there for spirited driving but other than that i dont beat on it. Anyone ever had a issue like this ? or can give me some imput and lead me in the right direction? Thanks.

I haven't ever seen a peg leg R/T at the track. That seems odd. I can tell you though the Getrag is tough. I beat on mine with DRs and when I change the fluid, it is always clear with no chunks of clutch pack.
Was this a one time thing or did you peg leg multiple times?
I'd go out to the driveway a do a quick launch and see if there are two marks. If there isn't, make sure it was optioned on your car. I thought all R/Ts were but that's just a guess.

Good to know. I would of thought that all Nag 1s would have the getrag. Do the chrysler rears take the same driveshaft?

Hey KJ392. Is your differential stock? You never got the rear-end whine that people talk about?

Was there any noticeable rut on the track in the launch area?

To find out for sure, jack up the rear of the car with it in neutral and rotate either wheel (both wheels off the ground). If you have a limited slip diff, both wheels will turn in the same direction. If you have an open diff the wheels will turn in opposite directions.

It did it once or twice, i have a vid. Ill try and up load it in a bit. Ive done a small burnout here and there, gotten out of a curve quickly and its always left both tires marked. So i assumed it had a limited slip. Car is fully loaded all the whistles and bells so id assume that it would have a LSD

6-speed R/T has anti-spin standard but it was a $275 option on automatic and most did not have it.

Don't drive in the water box with street tires, and don't do burnouts with them. A lot of strips consider it bad etiquette, and heating up a street tire doesn't help your traction. Au contraire, mon ami! (The opposite, my friend).
Chances are, you'd get two stripes, even with out an LSD if tires are dry.

Is it possible the brake torquing had some effect?

Yes stock and knock on wood no, mine is as quiet as the day I got it. I've only wheel hopped about a half dozen times launching and I always back out when it starts. I do run shorter DRs though so I don't know if that would make a difference (25.5" tall vs 28" tall).
I've changed the rear end fluid twice and both times it looked brand new.

KJ392 how often do you change your differential fluid? is there a specific additive you have to use or anything like that?

I run Mobil 1 75/90 syn. and the Mopar friction additive.
I've changed mine twice (once after 100 passes and once after 300 passes). I have ~15K mile on the car. Probably didn't need to change it either time as it looked brand new. I was looking for signs of clutch pack debris. Never saw any.
