Soo im driving my car and i feel heat by my feet... I know this isnt common so i made sure a/c heat is not on or atleast on hot setting.. As i reach below i touched a HOTA** pipe! Anyome know what it is??? Is it regular? I looked under and it goes into the engine bay.. I burnt my finger really bad?..???

That is the heater core line that supplies heat in cabin. There should be a cover on that area. Maybe older models don't have it but I had some extra pipe insulation that I used on those pipes to keep the in cabin Temps down a little

The coolant always flows through the heater core. When u turn the heat on it directs air through the core pulling the heat from the coolant just like the radiator. In turn heating the cabin
