I went from this (had it a long time and tons of miles)
987446

To this (always wanted one, found a ultra low mile 6 speed one)
987447

Quickly to this (a step up in every way, plus who doesn't love airscarf!)
987448

Then back into the fold wholly with this 1 of 1 beauty
987449

all the while had this in the garage, those all sat outside (it is worth less than any of them at time of purchase)

Ha. That’s great. This was a one year color......Martinique Blue in 1978. My girlfriend had one this color. Long story short, I married that girl 37 years ago. We sold it a few years after being married, and always regretted it. In 2015 when I retired, I started searching for a 78 in Martinique Blue. And there she is....it is my wife’s car.

Yeah the late 70s Trans Ams are more towards the sports car side of the equation but they were the closest you could get to a muscle car at that time.

Torque wasn’t that bad though at 325 lb ft.

Other than the BOSS and the SRT Challenger, pics are proving hard to find.
I had moved 4 times in 6 years and I fear the old pics may be lost for good.:(

I have a couple more I can add in.
This 1980 Monza ended up getting the 327 from the 1967 El Camino when it got a new ZZ4 350.
It also got louvers in the hood and the hood bulge opened like a scoop, and other enhancements, but no pictures of it then...

And I have a couple others I will try to dig up of "muscly/sporty" cars I have owned.

Had this 1977 Camaro with a built/bored Nitrous’d 350 4-speed in High School (1985ish)...

(A guy backed into me in the High School parking lot - I used the insurance money and haggled with several different paint shops in order to get the cool “ZZ Top” stripes.?)

A few years later had a stock 1980 Corvette just like this one... (sports car maybe...not much muscle)

A few years later I reluctantly had an 86 5.0 Mustang LX (my wife liked it and talked me into it). It actually ran pretty strong for the day and age.

Then went many many years driving spam cans, econoboxes, and a beater pickup before buying my R/T.
