just installed the newly released airaid challenger cold air dam (dry media filter). I bought it at autoanything.com for $187 after a $20 coupon. Along with my $30 Craigslist SRT8 air intake tube i am quite pleased. The look and sound are superb. The air raid set up can be mounted to your stock intake tube and makes a nice budget set up when compared to the 398.00 MOPAR cold air dam set up. The engine came alive and the SRT tube with the bellows makes the fit very nice. I had a K&N 63 Series CAI (which i returned) and the stiff tube did not fit nearly as well as the stock rubber srt8 tube. I had an Airaid cold air dam in my 2007 Tahoe and it gave me years of great service, but not nearly the sound quality i have now. Plus this one is not an oiled filter (i don't have a preference) so maybe it will be a close match to the dry media Mopar set up for 2011+ challenger...Attached are photos..

p.s. they say cold air intake is wasted cash....thank God i have money to waste because it looks great and really woke up this engine...

it has a long IAT sensor (about the length of a finger)...is there a different IAT for a 392 than the 5.7?

Big D, how are you liking the Airaid after a few weeks? Still good? Did you reset your adaptives or did she just wake up on her own? Thanks!

pretty pleased with the product. I did not pull the fuse or unplug the battery...maybe i will get around to it....nicer growl, maybe a mile or two improvement. CAI when combined with a little louder exhaust really enhances the sound and to be honest...its the sound that i like....a horse up or down is not going to make any difference to me....i drive in Dallas so this is not an issue
