Very cool. Missed the street trucks ever since the lightning disappeared. From then it was all the off-road trims like TRX and Raptor.

It’s a good start but I’m really looking for a pure SRT truck with something like a redeye motor. Good price for 650hp truck you’ll sell those out quick.

@stevewhite Any idea about more specs on the truck? Does it have a sunroof? What kind of brakes? The Fox site is kinda sparse on details. the Ram website says there is an available panoramic sunroof on the Bog Horn night edition. Does it have paddle shifters like my LX? What about the manual shifting like on my LX?

we routinely build 5.7 to 510/525 whps or approx 600 crank hps, and have never lost an engine, ever, the 5.7 is significantly more robust than the 6.4

 

Why no short cab?

 

Ram no longer makes a regular cab Ram 1500, hence quad or crew only

 

 

I just got off the phone with the Fox rep, he was visiting my local dealer here in TN. Here's what I was told, above and beyond what's listed above:

• First 250 are loaded Big Horn Editions with the Level 2 Group as noted above. They are loaded, even has the special Cluster with TFT display.
• Big Horn Level 2 edition has a 33 gallon tank.
• Tonneau Cover is available
• Anti Spin Rear Diff
• When I asked if I could order it without the graphics package, he did not say no, he was open to the idea.
• They've been working on this since 2023. Lots of testing the engine and the extra boost. No additional forged internal engine bits, it can handle it. Dodge would not allow it.
• They own the RideTech suspension components company.
• The actual HP output is more like 660, but don't tell anyone!
• Oil for Whipple will last 100K.
• Here's the only downside I can think of: They require you replace the plugs every 12000 miles. I asked him twice, are you sure? He even mentioned the spark plug gap, which I cannot recall. .030 or something?
• Stock brakes, no special Brembos.
• First come first served when ordering, no specific allocations to dealers. I'm ordering mine Friday.
• @stevewhite what's the paint code on the Hydro Blue you guys ordered? You listed the PAU code for the Granite. I'm wondering if it's the same as B5 Blue.
• 10 year 100000 mile limited powertrain warranty goes into effect for 2026 models.
• 3 year 36000 Basic Bumper to Bumper warranty.

There is no option, Ram is controlling this, there is no choices, no deleting, no different paint color or scheme, etc

 

Does it still have the e-torque system? I'm guessing the MDS and stop/start technology was eliminated with the supercharger.

Here's a Jeep in Hydro Blue PBJ. I think my neighbors is the same color. I'm going to compare his to my B5 Blue car.

 

Lots of nooks and crannies on these wheels. Going to be a ***** getting them clean. And no logo on the center cap?
And you'd think they'd add colored Brembos for a street truck look.

 

Can you confirm the warranty?? In your post you say the powertrain warranty goes to 5 year/60K, RWL11 says he spoke to someone at fox and the powertrain goes to 10/100 like the factory ones.

 

It was the sales guy AND the Fox Rep who said 10 year/100K. I mentioned what the Fox site said, he said that it was not updated to the 2026 numbers.

Where's the chrome package? I know that a lot of people now want black but I've got to believe that there are still a lot of customers that prefer chrome. I went through this when I ordered my 2022 R/T, NO CHROME WHEELS! You would figure that they would at least offer one chrome wheel, but no. So I had to buy aftermarket chrome wheels not long after I got my car. Still have the original ones in the boxes the chrome wheels came in. I did just buy myself a 2022 Ram 1500 Big Horn with the chrome package. Love it! When I was growing up you only had black wheels because you quitting afford the real chrome wheels. Just my two cents. No offense to anybody who happens to life black, just would like the option.

Newsflash: Just got back from the dealer, where I placed my order for one in Molten Red! How is that possible? My salesguy has the Fox Rep on speedial. He asked him about other colors: he said you can order one in ANY color Ram offers for a 2026 Ram 1500 Big Horn Night edition. ANY COLOR. I actually talked to him myself, so there's that.

He stated they put in an order for 300 vehicles today, just a few were in Molten Red. Mine's going to be one rare bird.
When I have the completed Build Sheet, I'll post it up here.

 

Oh, and I'm getting a $4500 rebate and signed up for the $1000 customer cash deal. Bonus time!
