I’ve tested this out myself. Looked great but didn’t last me more than a month. I hope you get better results.

Well... I promised an update. Here's how it looks after sitting outside for 71 days in MA weather. It looks better than it did pre-treatment, but definitely not getting 5-6 months. The sides of the car aren't in direct sunlight as the back and front bumper and they look better.

I think I'll use Cerakote Ceramic Trim Coat Kit next time around.
I liked Cerakote but do not follow their directions, after applying a small section do a light level with a microfiber towel. This will give you a better even look. If you apply it like they suggest you end up with a splotchy finish that you’re stuck with for a couple years. I’ve had clients ask to fix it and there is no fixing a botched trim coat, you have to wait for it to fail and eventually scrubs off.

I would recommend Solution Finish first, they also have a protectant to apply over the “dye”You may also coat over Solution Finish after about 4-5 hours of drying.
