Doing wheel/tire shopping planning and all sorts of ideas and questions pop up. LOL
So this time around, do 275/40s look chunkier on a 9.5" wheel than on they do on a 9" wheel? Thinking now maybe 275s all around on 9.5" but I want a good meaty look. I was planning 275/295 on a 9"/10" combo. I like a beefy, capable look without being overdone. I'm into subtle.
This is 90% about looks. I do a touch of spirited driving and it tends to be on twisties more than straight ahead, altho that figures in too. I like a road-racy look without looking like a road-racer, if that makes sense. I was the first in my group to put G60-15s all around on my '70 Camaro SS 350 back in the day.
So anyway, what say you? 275s on 9.5" square. Beefy? 2017 R/T on Stage 1 springs, BTW.
