Wow that sucks. Thanks for the heads up. I’ll let you know how my install goes as soon as I receive it and get it installed. Hopefully I have no issues. We will see. Thanks again for the post.Just be careful. For some reason on the 345 I could never get it to sit right even after moving it as far over and back as suggested in the directions. Ended up carving a nice big notch under there due to the bolt rubbing through the seal. Also mashed the seal at both front bolts. Not sure why, had no more room to adjust away from the front. Got in touch and they said they're sending replacement 5 and 7 risers but I might hold off on reinstalling and staying stock for now. Gotta go and buff and point over the big scuff there now. I’ve had mine on my R/T Shaker 5.7 for a year now and no real issues. The only thing I can see is the smaller shaker seal they give you is starting to wear a little. But other than that works perfect. And sits so much better.this is an old post but found this mod and am wondering if this is still an issue? or have they fixed it?
Thanks man. I appreciate it. Probably has 10 coats of ceramic on it. 😂 Including the brembo calipers. But I think the shaker riser is definitely worth it. Makes a huge difference. Oh, and my shaker lights up too. 👍🏻Dang, your blue car is awesome.
Thanks bro I appreciate it. The height on the shaker looks perfect. It should’ve came from the factory this way. And no I didn’t paint the shaker that was after I detailed it and put a coating spray on it and left it smooth and shiny. I liked it for a while but eventually I took it off. Attracted too much dirt and dust. I want to get it painted like the 50th anniversary shakers. But just don’t trust the body shops or anybody around my area.that is a sweet color bro! I think ill get it the height looks so good. Did you also paint your shaker scoop?
